14 days, no reason needed.
On any payment for Ratproof Pro. Paddle takes the payment and sends the refund, because they are the merchant of record. The policy they follow is ours, and this is it.
Last updated 2026-10-14.
Ratproof Pro is not on sale yet, so there is nothing to refund today. This policy applies from the day it goes on sale.
The policy
Ask within 14 days of any payment, and you get that payment back. This covers your first payment and every renewal, monthly or yearly. No reason needed. Using it a lot is not held against you.
Cancelling
Cancel any time. You are not charged again. Ratproof Pro keeps working to the end of the period you paid for.
How to ask
Through Paddle, at paddle.net, using the email you paid with. They hold the money, so only they can send it back.
You can tell us too, and we will chase it. But going to us first only adds a step.
One limit, said plainly
We set the policy. Paddle carries it out. As merchant of record, they hold the money and have the final say on any single payment. So they could refuse even when we wouldn't. You should know how it works. Their refund policy and buyer terms are the current word on their side.
If it ever happens and you asked within the window, tell us. We will take it up with them in writing.
Before you ask
- Let us fix it. Often faster than a refund, and usually what people wanted anyway. support@ratproof.app.
- Check the numbers first. Accuracy, speed and what it runs on are on the numbers page.
Your legal rights come first
Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you. In the EU, the EEA and the UK, you have 14 days to withdraw from a digital purchase. Other countries set their own rules. Those rights apply whatever any page says. Where they give you more than this policy, they win.
If you can't get a fair answer, go to your national consumer authority. In India, that is the National Consumer Helpline (1915, or consumerhelpline.gov.in) and the consumer commissions under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
The free tool
Nothing to refund, ever. The browser tool and the self-hosted bundle are free, and that is not a trial.
Your files are not affected
Your recordings and transcripts stay where they are. They were never on our servers or Paddle's, so there is nothing for anyone to delete or hold back. They stay on your computer whether a refund is given, refused, or never asked for.
